JOB DESCRIPTION

We are seeking experienced professionals who has a passion for building great systems based on XML, and who has experience designing and building enterprise-class software products, end-to-end. Responsibilities work closely with user experience designers, product managers, and other engineers in a development environment that is highly collaborative. Exercise innovation in support of UI design and heuristics through your expertise in server and client side web development to enhance the overall user experience. Responsible for developing production-level code as well as proof-of-concepts and prototypes. Qualifications proven expertise across a broad spectrum of Web 2. 0 technologies: DHTML, AJAX/JavaScript, JSON & web services API. Strong command of OO Javascript, CSS, HTML, W3C DOM methods and properties, cross-browser development techniques, and browser degradation strategies. Familiarity with Javascript APIs such as Ext JS, Dojo, or YUI. Well versed in code optimization and software design principles, and have a passion and demonstrated experience in UI design and development. Excellent collaborative interpersonal communication and team interaction skills. Interest in latest trends and emerging technologies on the web. Solid understanding of principles behind Java MVC web application frameworks, such as Struts, Struts2, WebWork, or Tapestry. Proficient Java and JSP programming.

REQUIRED KNOWLEDGE:
*Web application development
*Software Design Patterns (GOF)
*Multi-tier architecture
*1-2 yrs experience in Java development

PREFERRED KNOWLEDGE:
* Has some Ruby experience
* Strongly prefer Spring experience
* Very much prefer Hibernate experience
* Good to have Struts experience
* Good to have JBoss Rules experience
* Nice to have JDBC experience
