JOB DESCRIPTION
We are currently recruiting for ColdFusion and MS SQL developers to join our expanding technology team. The candidates we seek must be able to demonstrate an ability to work in a team-oriented environment, possess top quality self-management skills, and an ability to consistently hit deadlines. Strong communication skills are a must.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
* Application design, documentation, integration, and maintenance in a multi server high transaction volume environment
* Ability to complete projects with aggressive timelines in a high intensity, high productivity environment
* Resolve technical operational difficulties as warranted
REQUIRED KNOWLEDGE:
* Must be proficient (2+ years) in database design with hands on production and work experience with MS SQL
* Must be able to decipher undocumented code and document appropriately
* Must have a high competency level in general web programming and scripting
* Strong understanding of software architecture
* Independent / self-starter
* Strong debugging skills
PREFERRED KNOWLEDGE:
* Experience with a Hardware Description Language (HDL) such as Verilog
* Knowledge of testbench languages such as vera or specman highly desireable
* Experience in large scale internet business applications
* Intermediate knowledge of ColdFusion or a strong desire to learn
* Familiarity with performance improvement measures
* Strong documentation and writing skills
REQUIRED EXPERIENCE:
Two years of software development experience delivering real world e-commerce applications to production using structured SDLC methodologies.
MINIMUM LEVEL OF EDUCATION:
Undergraduate degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related area of study; or significant related work experience.
